My 4 year old shimano spd shoes have finally split/worn. Decided i wanted to get some spesh bg.

Went to evans and saw the bg expert (felt lovely) for £129.99. Told the guy i saw them cheaper online. He said could i show him. Took out my ericcson phone with small crappy screen, loaded up the web page (which looked terrible on my phone) showed him the page.. so he taps them in for £97.86! very pleased

This got me thinking. What's to stop me from knocking up a professional looking webpage with a 'cheaper' price next time i buy something? Seems this could quite easily be abused!

(Of course, i'm a law abiding citizen with a Conscience)

I've never changed a price (to easy to check) but I have saved a web page, amended the stock level to show that an out of stock item was available and used this for a price match.
