another of those credit where credits due threads...

just had mine (29er minutes) done by evans.

they needed a new cartridge in them, as the other had come apart in the forks - i'd not really noticed, but i tend to run my forks into the ground 😳

anyway, took them in to my local branch on a monday and had them back the following tuesday (manitou distributors took a while to send the new part - would have been back by the preceeding friday).

unfortunately there was a problem with the damping unit, so i had to take them back in - incredibly appologetic on phone and in store, despite it not being their fault.

express serviced it, got hold of a new damper sharpish, and they paid extra for them to be delivered back to store on the bank holiday weekend for me.

forks feel better than they have for a very long time.

best thing? TF wanted about £90 for the standard service, plus i'd have had the hassle of the postage/packing/waiting for delivery.

evans cost £75 - drop off in store, they sort the shipping at no extra cost/hassle, and then pick up again in store at my conveniece. even got a tenner off my next service too!

just thought i'd give you a heads up 🙂
