Hey,

Looking for suggestions for where to go on a riding trip this summer. Been to a bunch of different places across the Alps, Italy, etc but we’ve got some timing constraints this year so asking for recommendations. A week or 10 days or so.

- uplifts, chair lifts or vans.
- time; either June or Sept after 6th. July/Aug are out. So likely lifts closed in some places.
- good mixture of trail levels. I like more technical stuff (Aosta, Molini, etc) but wife is more blue/red UK, blue in Alps. We found Aosta fun but very limited at that level.
- other stuff beyond riding if going for longer trip.
- France and Italy has been mainstay, so other countries would be a good change
- Ideally driving from UK

Any suggestions?
Cheers
Jonny

Have a look at La Massana/ Vallnord Andorra, I went last June and really enjoyed it, very chilled out, well maintained trails with a mix to suit all abilities.
My trip coincided with maxiavalanche and a few trails were closed while the race was on, I think that's 13-15 June and I would avoid for the UCI DH which is 2 weeks later, unless you fancy watching it!
I think the lifts are open till the end of Sept too but obviously check first

Even shared a lift with Cedric Gracia, sick boi 😉

Ah, there’s somewhere I hadn’t thought about. That gap between the maxi and the World Cup could work. I’ll look into more.

Cheers.

If you like the look of Vallnord contact singletrack safari. The Vallnord bike park is a bit small for a week to 10 days. Singletrack safari guided option will get you right off the beaten track on some fantastic trails

I’ll try a bump message. Any other good suggestions? Must be more places outside the high Alps.
