[#1936520]

Am trying to get out to EuroBike next Saturday but am being faced with some seriously expensive flights.

Is anyone going that might be able to suggest a cheap way to get there, can anyone perhaps share a ride?

Thanks

I'm flying to Zurich, then train and ferry to Friedrichshafen. Doesn't seem TOO expensive.

I'm coming home on Friday though 🙂

I am doing the same as LoCo. We must be bloody loco!

My colleague booked Swiss Air into Zurich, it was about £140 return.

Didn't want to have to drive to London to get a plane at reasonable price, parking faff e.t.c Bit of a road trip with a few others should be amusing 😕

Have looked into driving, anyone want to share the drive over?

I'll drive, its a 1400 mile round trip and the cost of the ferry is about £50.

Driving 1400 miles for a single day at a bike show? Are you insane? I am doing the drive to be out there for a week and it still seems a long way.

Potential job in it mate, needs be n all that jazz... 🙂

I drove 65000 miles for work last year so travelling is 2nd nature, not good though eh.

Alternatively, I can fly to Zurich cheap enough if I can cadge a lift with someone?

Train then the ferry. I've never done it before and am quite excited 🙂

ps: if you're after a job why are you going for the public day?

I'm off to Zurich too. We got the free Eurobike bus from Zurich Airport last year. Cheapest 🙂

I'm assuming its running again this year. Well counting on it actually.

Zurich is a great place to wander around too before flying home.

Hi,

Be interested to know more about the bus, does anyone know if it's running this year.

Dasilva, when are you flying over?

Brant, I'm committed with my job all week and can only get there for the public day. I'm not currently in the industry so can't get there on the trade days. Mores the pity.

Dave

Good luck Stumpi, both with the trip and the job. If you see a bearded shaved headed fella on the Genesis stand that will be me.

Mr P, will say hi, I'll be the bearded bald guy looking slightly tired!

Ok anyway, I'm going to get the Friday evening flight and will come back on the last HR flight Saturday.

What I need now is a bed, sofa, anything for the night....

Anyone? Maybe even a suggestion of a cheapie hotel..

Thanks
