Thinking cycling Bristol to Plymouth, ferry to Roscoff, cycle to Cherboug, ferry to Poole, cycle back to Bristol over a week. What is the surface on the Velo 4 gravel or is it just quiet roads??? Ta

I have done some of it its mainly tarmac some road lose gravel pretty easy stuff.

Cheers, I was hoping they were like the green routes, grass covered or gravel. So cross tyred fixed gear Steamroller it is then...

You could from Roscof head inland and pickup the Nantes Brest canal thats quite a nice ride.
