is anybody using these? im currently running the gx1 cross country grips - which are great...but due to the design makes it a little awkward when tech descents are involved....as the GA1's are a round profile grip and designed more for all mountain etc, are they going to be equally as comfy over longer rides??
any advice or help appreciated! ๐
bumpity bumpity! ๐
Have you got the small size? Regardless of hand size, and the small is recommended for more technical riding.
hey sam - the gx1's are one size only....the ga1's come in small or large, defo think id be a small, just wanted some real life views on them though first
I use the GA1s and find them very comfy. Never actually fitted the GP1s I had, so cannot compare for comfort. Decided I did not like the look of the GPs - too difficult to grab properly on technical stuff?
I've got GP1's fitted, as has one of my riding buddies, and they are ace. I can't say I've ever been hindered by them on techy stuff.
They are exceptionally comfy btw.
Ah, didn't realise, I use the new GS2 (which is a softer GX2), and thought they were the same but without barends.
cheers folks!
timwillows - how do they fair compared to other ones you have used? ie not ergon ones?
the gx'1s i use are comfy as, just on tech stuff as i have small hands, find it a bit of a struggle to grip and one finger brake due to the bulge...
thinking if the ga1's are just as comfy, and dont have the bulge etc, then its win win??
tim have you got the ga1 liechtbau/sl ones? or just the standard ga1's
