[#2092760]

Ive had my new Specilized Epic Evo 2011 for a week now but ant make my mind up.

I have a Hope Pro 3 SP-XC3 wheelset with DTswiss 4.2d rims and the Wheels that came with the bike. The Rovals. The hopes are about 100 grams lighter for the wheelset.

Which set shall I flog? and which one shall I keep?

Keep both, that way you can run different tyres and/or if you prang one you've a spare.

Plus if you go tubeless, swappings a pain, so again 2 sets of wheels.

I dont really see the point in one set sitting around the garage colelcting dust.
These are expensive wheelsets that could be sold. You may of noticed I did not buy them.

I've got Roval Controle SLs and they're not all that tough, the front hub bearings have been dire too, although I think the bearings are bigger on the ALs. However, I don't like the DT rims and you can't run tubeless as easily. If you run tubeless then I'd stick with the Rovals, if you don't then you should, and sell the Hopes ๐Ÿ™‚
