What the hell did you put on that to push it over 35lbs? Lead?

I was going to ask the same. Had mine in original spec blown from underneath me before now. Can't imagine it ever getting close to the weight of my patriot 7+ (no pics i'm afraid)

Even heavier bike. Getting it up here was not pleasant.

You bet. Keeps it going through the tough conditions on the estate. Adds a few pounds though.

Cheers. I considered 'dropping it to flat'. But then thought better of it.

Not too worried about the weight Luke - my current 'lightweight' bike is just over the 30 mark so a bit more won't make much difference ๐Ÿ˜‰ . Horse looks good! Enjoy France!

Be interested to know who has the heaviest bike.
Anyone got a BMW racelink? I'm sure they would be over 40lbs.

Cheers ๐Ÿ™‚

62lb!!!! Reckon my heaviest was a mere 37lbish '04 Stinky as stock . . . ended up around 32-33 by the time I'd given it the jeycore-lite treatment.

with lighter tyres it was around the 39/40lb. great fun on it at innerleithen. set a p.b. on it at cwmcarn. oh, these are the xc trails i'm talking about and the p.b. i beat was done on a on-one 456?!? also been to glentress, afan, coed-y-brenin, golspie, fort william world champ course, laggan, learnie red rock amongst other xc trails.

the latest incarnation of it (after tiny cracks were spotted on the frame) is dh only with heavy tyres and tubes, heading single ring too soon. I'm afraid the new trail centre bike is a measly 28lb 2007 trance. least i know i can MTFU when the time calls for it.

first pic is current incarnation, second was the original one at the top of glentress.

Dont know how much this weighs, but once I've put some fatter tires on I reckon it will be not too far off 35lbs.

[img] [/img]

My mate had an oldish Kona Stab deluxe with the newer heavier monster T's, Sun double tracks and full diabolous finishing kit. That was the heaviest bike ive ridden, I reckon about 55lb easy

The best looking DH bike in my opinion.
