I had a look at a steel frame the other night, very nice and would be on my list if I ever buy a xc hardtail.

I chased it around TwentyFour12 last year for a few laps (until i crashed and broke my bike) - it's pretty nippy!

I test rode the Ti and Steel at the open day at their sussex workshop, both amazing bikes, the filet brazzed steel was a thing of beauty, super light too. Saw a demo of a build too, very interesting to see a frame being built. most definetly tempted.

BTW if you check the clearance section on their site they some times have cheap frames for sale.
