Anyone know of anyone?

Have a steel frame, alloy seatpost, seized together over winter, destroyed the old post getting it unstuck.

Ordered a new post to find it's still a very very tight fit, had a look down the seattube to find it's filthy/ rusty/ full of crap.

Worth taking to an engineering firm to get reamed out to 25.2mm again?

Ta, Ben

Or any bikeshop/garage that has an adjustable reamer. Really simple job.

Will have a ring 'round tomorrow, do I need to take the BB out, or is it do-able without?

Er, just get some sandpaper, stick it round a cylindrical object and clean it out yourself?

Perfectly doable without taking the BB out, although depending on how much swarfe drops down, you might want to so you can give it a good clean out
