Am looking for the unfindable!

Tasteful riding jerseys that aren't euro-racer-spandex-tastic, but that aren't gnar-core-DH-well-weapon like.

Requirements;
Mid to full length zip.
Generous cut for my [s]beer loving[/s] athletic build.
Decent sized pocket(s) at the rear, able to take phone, the odd munchie and maybe a Pertex gilet.
Tasteful colorwayz (sic).

So far, the only ones I can find are from Giro, but am open to suggestions if you please!

Xtract looks a good option, thanks.

Had already looked at the Fox Ranger, I think. Zipped pocket was too small. Tiny, in fact.

I have an Xtract - wore it every day riding in Cairngorm the other week. Seriously good bit of kit and nicely understated.

Also have the Rapha cx, think I prefer the Endura ... !

Is Troy Lee Alpine beyond the pale?

OMG, that Xtract thing looks truely hideous, I know it's not about the look, but c'mon, that's a bin bag with a zipper ๐Ÿ˜†

The new INRNG jerseys are pretty fine looking (IMO) and the wide range of size options should let you get a "non-Italian fit"

I like a tight fit Lycra top, but I do have the howies jersey, very comfortable and it has a decent zipped pocket, plus the material is very stretchy so stuffing a layer in is no problem.

And it supports a very, very good website. I've already got a cap, I think a new jersey may be purchased too.

Can I add pump pocket to the requirements list?

Now I have a niche-tastic bike I'm finding myself with wardrobe concerns too.

Yep. No pockets on my mtb jerseys! Hence the searching.

^^^^ you really want a rigid metal object like a pump against your spine if you take a hard tumble ?

Pump on bike or in Evoc for me )

I actually prefer a small saddle bag/wedge for tool/tube. Mini pump on the frame under the bottle cage.

Tang, that's what I have now. Would just like a jersey with pockets for snack, phone, cash etc.

It comes in some pretty (sic) colourways.

Failing that, something tried and tested like an Altura Airstream.

I know I sound like a stuck record but the howies is really really nice. I have the one with welsh stripes on (I don't normally go for 'stripes', but I was born in wales and I think the welsh jersey is red with a dragon? National tops are for winners only!) thats not merino mix.

You can tell that a couple of Rapha designers have moved to Wiggle in that new Blok kit..

I bought one last month and I'm very impressed with it. It's race fit, I'm not, but it really does flatter. (If that's a concern. It's not often my wife takes an interest in how I look in cycling gear, but she really likes me in the Howies stuff!)

I bought the blue, slightly by mistake, meant to get the black. It does look very much like the Italian national champ's jersey. I'll have to as apologise to Vincenzo next time I'm gridded next him. ๐Ÿ˜†
