I want to start entering some races, but want to know where people find them? Thinking "enduro" style events. Not endurANCE xc events before it opens up the debate of what enduro is. But like the Gravity Enduro events etc. Would rather start on smaller events to get the hang of it first.
Where do I find such events? Is there a "list" of them any where? Or is it just being in the know of what is where?
I'm in the Lake District and would prefer more local ones than South East/West etc.
Cheers ๐Ÿ™‚

Entered RD4 at Gisburn of the PMBA Enduro.
I think next year when it's on I will enter all 5 depending on how this one goes ๐Ÿ™‚

I was going to say, PMBA. I did the Grizedale one and it was a good event. Booked to do Gisburn and the last round at Lee / Cock Hill.

Never done an Enduro before so Grizedale was very much a learning experience... mainly learning that those flat bits in the middle of the downs on a section I should actually be putting some effort in instead of pootling! Signed up to Strava since so I'm pedalling like a lunatic everywhere now ๐Ÿ˜‰

I've never done any at all, so Gisburn will be a new one for me.
Wish I had done the Grizedale one, Know that place like the back of my hand now.
What's the "script" with them?
Turn up, register, race?

Have a look on northern downhill, they do a few Enduro's although a bit more DH orientated.

'Ard rock enduro is on in Swaledale on the 3rd August, any places left there?

At the last Gisburn enduro format was sign on and get your race number, practice until lunchtime, then race in the afternoon.

I'm planning to do Lee Quarry/Cock Hill but not entered yet.

There are some spaces left for 'Ard rock yeah, I may consider throwing an entry to that, I have plans that weekend for a Stiniog trip though, so not sure yet ๐Ÿ™‚
