I was toying with entering the 3rd race of the Enduro 1 series ( http://enduro1.co.uk/ ) As I quite like the general idea of Enduro/Gravity Enduro type racing...
But leafing through their rules page it all seemed a little fussy and talked about starting time slots for each stage with cutoffs and penaltys, late starters not being allowed to pass slower riders, etc...
It all seems a bit too arsey and over complicated, anyone entered any of the races in this series? and if so how did you find it? Were you constantly worrying about missing cuttoff times or where you were meant to be, rather than enjoying the actual racing?
How was the timing operated? (considering that they have individual cuttoff times for starting stages)
More importantly what was the atmosphere/general vibe of the event like?
done the first 2, great laugh and very sociable event,
the cutoffs are reasonably generous, if your worried you can go for sport class(rather than competitive) where they give you loads of time
my only issue is that the timings were a bit dodgy on one of the stages but was i didnt care
the skills section was a good addition, no dabs, just like kickstart!!
