Any opinions? Read a few good reviews but any real life users?

I have one superb jacket keeps the chill off but not too heavy weight. Quite small sized/snug fitting so perhaps try or go up a size if you dont want the racing snake look.

How showerproof is it?

Pretty good as it's a softshell type fabric, dont think it would hold out as long as something like gore-tex/Event etc. I got mine to use Autumn and spring type of time. When you dont need a full blown waterproof kacket but need to keep the chill off and account for any shower.

Really like mine, just need the temperature to drop a little bit and it will be getting a lot of use.
