Anyone use these? Did a search, but about all that comes up is one persons experience, posted on lots of threads...

Had the 1st edition of them, the arse wore out after about 4 muddy rides not impressed, particularly at the cost.
Heard the latest ones were better so bought a pair of them, the arse is holding up a bit better than the last pair but not entirely convinced that they are that good, a bit disappointing would be my analysis, but not sure of any better alternatives.

Vinnyeh cyclestore are doing the altura attacks for 40 odd quid or the 3/4 lengths for 52 if you get the 3/4's you get free spray bikecomp.

I wouldn't recommend the altura attacks.

Same as Shak47...

First pair were leaking around the arse after a few weeks.
Replacement pair still going strong 3 years later.

Best waterproof shorts I've used are Scott Helium Paclite, picked up from Evans a while ago for £45. Think they've sold out now though and not seen them anywhere else.

Thanks, all, so not overwhelmingly positive then?

Shame, I've got a warranty credit to use at a shop, and was scratching a bit for something to buy.
