anyone using them? after some cheap winter gloves, mainly for road but a bit of mtb too, not silly cold days, and these look pretty good at 18quid?

Our local aldi (brierley hill) has still got lots of the end-of-september cycling gear (that I didn't hear about) in stock. I've not used the gloves in anger yet, but they look and feel like proper things, rather than "decent for the price" compromises. Here's the official picture - they look much better made, similar to the ones you referenced, in the flesh (and in black) though. [img] [/img]

I only popped in for some tinned tomatoes on the way past - came out fully geared up, poor, and with no tomatoes 🙄

I used a pair through last winter and on the whole, pretty good really. Not for freezing days though as the back does let a bit of cold air through which might be more of an issue at road speeds

I bought a pair pearl izumi wxb softshell 3x1 (with seperate inners) for £17 for the missus in small from amazon which im returning next week (missis prefers the wxb barriers).

You can have them for £20 posted (so mods not making any money as it costs £3.60 to post) if you want?

Think amazon are now selling them for about £50

I tried them on for size and the inners were just right with my 21cm knuckles circumference along with outers.
