[#2994795]

Anybody can create a Country Mountain Bike Challenge in Endomondo for August? always give priority to MTBiking before running in summer, as trails are nice and dusty and the weather so good, so can't really contribute. But for off road biking, that will be a different story, and i will be happy to pile up some extra miles.

I guess if we can't do it, what about a STW challenge ? - Team already exist, can Singletrack give one of their fresh goods as a prize, even a ST pair of socks will do. I'm happy to offer a packet of Jaffa cakes for the winner if they can't.

Gilles

I didn't fully understand what you wrote there, but this may be of interest to you.

In fact just come back from Endomondo, what about creating several county teams - STW_Wiltshire, STW_Somerset, STW_Worcestershire,etc...and create a challenge for teams. Just created STW_Wiltshire if anybody want to join.

There's only 37 people on the STW July challenge and there's 83 counties in the UK. I don't think there's much point in having county teams.

Click the "Join" button and change your workout type to "Mountain Biking".
It can take a few minutes for workouts to appear on the challenge after uploading.

Well I got an invitation to join the STW_Worcestershire team, so I did.
Gilles, I'm confused. You created the STW_Wiltshire team, you describe Ashton Court as a local trail and you're the STW_Worcestershire team captain. What's going on there then ? โ“
What do we do with these teams now we're in them ?

Somebody should setup the south downs way endomondo challenge for individuals attempting the SDW

I like this idea of an SDW challenge on endomondo, it kind of ties in with the idea of GPS racing here.

As there doesn't seem to be much happening with the STW county teams, how about an STW team on BikeJournal ?
I don't know how much of this you can see without being logged in, but there's a team league table here.
I'm in the veganfitness.net team, currently 67th/780 clubs for total mileage with no one with less members above us. 8)

If there's any interest, I'll start an STW team. I think I can have my distance credited to two teams at the same time.
The only drawback is that, unless you become a paid member, you can't upload stuff directly from Garmin, you have to enter it manually.

Gilles,

you should start a pig skin (pork scratching) eating team as you love them so much ๐Ÿ˜€

Gilles was one of the original Clent duffers, on an mtb exchange posting from Cern.. We thought what he would bugger off after a couple of weeks, but once he got hooked on pork scratchings he renounced his French passport, claimed culinary asylum and now travels the UK in his ever ending search for other pub based delicasies.

I just created a SingleTrackWorld club on www.bikejournal.com.
Unfortunately, I can't credit my rides to two clubs, so as I'm already logging all my rides for the VeganFitness.net club, I can't take part, unless I create another log in on there and upload all my rides twice.
Shame, because I could have put us at 318th out of 786 on the clubs table on my own. ๐Ÿ˜€

Does anyone know of any similar sites where we could have an STW Forum team ?
