And the final month of the summer of commute.

Hoping to crack 1000miles for that by the end of the month assuming my commuters head tube stays attached.

I'm up for the off-road challenge. I gave up on Endomondo for a while as I was getting some very random readings from my rides. Change of recording device may help.

Andy I rode around the block on the way home tonight. The "boy" want s to go out Thursday though he was a bit tired after yesterdays outing. He thought he would be clever and try some sprint intervals to try and break his dad ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

I've joined "commute" in the hope it'll encourage me to ride in more days, though I'm going on holiday next week. I'm currently Anonymous over there.

Not UK restricted this month, just make sure we know who you are over there if your login name is different.

Top marks for playing a good game Mikertroid enjoyed our wee tussle this month it spurred me on to ride the Fatbike when I was not really wanting to .

Bet you didn't expect to be still riding your bike at 5 mins to midnight last night and it being your second ride of the evening ๐Ÿ˜€
Good effort I did think about going back out when I saw you had but bed seemed the more inviting option .

Troutie,

You're not wrong! "Good game, good game" as Brucey would say!

I was enjoying a post-challenge ice cream when I saw you'd snuck a sneaky one in. ๐Ÿ˜ณ I had to break the promise to my wife of no more riding this month! Strangely, it was a cracker of a ride despite how much the earlier one hurt!

Well done. Glad it's over!!

Out of interest, where did it show I'd gone back out? I've been struggling with a delay in the updates myself.

Yes good game

w00t - not last in either road or offroad, and I hardly even rode.

Is it really OCtober already? how did that happen? Need to clock up 400km still to hit my target for the year, and then think of a challenge for next yr).

Last MTB ride of the month currently uploading - that'll get me into the top 10 in MTB and 5th in Road.

3rd in the September Commuting challenge
5th in the Summer of Commuting challenge

Pretty happy with that. Been doing a lot more commuting than I can usually do because the missus is on maternity leave, so I'm not required for nursery runs etc. ๐Ÿ˜€

Who is "Maximus Stravarius" by the way? Gave me a good run on both challenges.

Are we going to create some new challenges for October?

Or I think the original challenge authors can just reset the dates on the challenges and let them continue with everyone still signed up.

Must be able to do some kind of reset.
The Rotten Egg ones seems to auto-renew automagically.

Just need to evict the non-STWer trophy hunters.

I think you just edit the challenge and change the start and end dates.

The totals will not reset to zero though.

Don't they? They seem to on the Rotten Egg challenges.

Surely if you change the start date then it won't count stuff from prior to that date any more? Or is it bugged?

Can't believe I missed the win on the summer commute by 2 miles, I appreciate will stopped adding rides a fair while ago but I don't do any extra "loops" on my commute, it's to fricking far already!!

Happy with the win for September commute.

Maximus is on here somewhere, I know him from another Mtb forum also.
