anyone use the endomondo app for tracking & plotting there routes? .
I wondered if it was worthwhile battery life etc on an iphone 4s! .
Yes. I have the free app, it works pretty well. You can export tracks and those to create your own maps or routes.
Sorry to dig up an old thread.
I mainly use Strava but most of my friends are on Endomondo.
I'm a member of endomondo but the account is pretty much inactive other than a few friends.
Is it possible to download someone's ride? I don't see a way to do it on the site.
Is there an easy way to mass import rides into endomondo?
I'm thinking about importing my history into it but it would take way too long to do it one by one.
Strava did it with a few clicks in a minute.
I use a Garmin 800.
You can import and export tracks and routes on Endomondo (thanks from me for using an old thread instead of starting a new one)
hugor - batch uploading will depend on your Garmin. With my Edge 705, Endomondo lets me upload all the tracks since the last upload.
With my Dakota 20, I have to "Import from file" and connect to the directory on the Dakota as a disk drive.
You can't just download someone else's route, but they can export it and send it to you, or they can save it on Endomondo as a "Public" Route.
Yes.
4 hours battery life while listening to music.
I keep my routes visible to my friends only not the great unwashed.
thanks very much for all replies.
Unfortunately I recently lost my 705 when it came off the mount.
The rides are stored in GTC.
I am exporting them 1 week at a time!
If GTC grouped them into months it would be much easier.
