[Closed] Elixir CR or XTR brakes for 4" XC bike?

I need new brakes for my 4" XC bike. I'm torn between the Avid Elixir CR's and the Shimano XTR disc brakes. Both are roughly the same cost. Both appear to be fully adjustable to get the perfect set-up. Does anyone out there have any experience of which would be the preference?

Now a bit of background which may help. I'd be running 160mm front and rear as I don't need tons of stopping power as I don't go that mad. The bike is mostly older XTR so I'm in this price range opposed to going with the cheaper Elixir 5, Juicy's or XT. I need to get them soon so can't want for the 2011 models, which also means I may miss out of end-of-line discounted 2010 models.
