[Closed] Electron EHP310 lights - do yours run hot?

Dug out my old [url= http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=5769 ]Electron EH130[/url] lights, charged 'em up and switched 'em on to see if they are still working okay. They've only been on a few minutes and are now very hot, so much so that the body burned my fingertips when I picked them back up.
Is this normal? Or could there be a fault causing them to overheat? Not sure I should use them now, though the warmth would be welcome on night rides at the moment!
