Anyone done such a thing. Never even ridden a fat bike although its needs doing. However, as I barely ride the MTB as it feels so damn slow compared to my road and TT bikes, I suspect that I won't be enamoured by the fattie. However in many ways a powered version would very much suit the wife and my occasional off road excursions.
Online searches for e fatties bring up cheap and nsty novelty stuff so a conversion is of interest and probbly cheaper.
BB mount I guess or would a hub set up do? (If such a hub could be found)
Any pics would be nice.
The tongsheng kit can be got in 100mm BB format. I think its an adaptor someone has made for them but the kit is good for the price
Bafeng as well but IMO its not as good a kit
Possibly gettable in the uk, possibly not, https://www.specialized.com/us/en/turbo-levo-comp-fat/p/118334?color=208737-118334

? Isn’t an emtb with 2.8s pretty much the same as a fat bike (plus cheaper with lots more choice)

Disappointed this isn't a video.
This is one of those threads where, based on the title, the full text in the original post should be hidden for at least 30 minutes to allow for comedy replies.
Sorry, can't help with the actual question.
Pretend the chain is electrified... 😉
My sister in-law is not a cyclist just someone who occasionally rides a bike .
Her favourite bikes are the electric fatties you can hire in the Alps.
She says they feel safer.
They are of course bloody lethal in mud.
I'll never ride one ever. Might as well put pedals on a tractor.
A lot of my PBs on the road are set on my fatty.
They are not slow, them wheels roll forever.
