I've currently got these TLD's, which are fine - apart from they slip down my arm (despite being really snug). It's always going to be a thing with the tapered profile of your arm, but are there any out there that don't budge?

I needed a set for a race last weekend and nipped into my local bike shop and got some O'Neal Redeema pads because that's all they had in stock in my size that wasn't a lycra tube with foam rubber glued onto it. I went for medium just so they wouldn't slip off and they didn't budge over 5 hours of sweaty enduro type stuff. I didn't even know O'Neal made body armour but I've got to say i'm impressed by breathability, fit and the removable D30 style protector.

I've got the exact same tld pads and also found them slipping down.
I've replaced them with some
Bliss Protection Minimalist

But for bigger days out I bought some Fox Launch D30 elbow pads which saved my elbows at Antur Stiniog a few weeks ago.

Both stay in place

I was lucky enough that my OH had a set of evoc knee and elbow pads that were way too snug for him. I get to have both and wore both the other day as had a big holiday so wanted to minimise risk. I was surprised with how little the elbow pads annoyed me and they didnt budge all day. I think it probably helps that I have quite slender arms unlike most blokes.

POC VPD Air I find are very good. Only issue I’ve had with slippage is when wearing a long-sleeved base layer, so the grippers aren’t as effective.

Dakine Slayer are comfy and don't slip down (a lot of pads do on me).

And oh look, they seem to be on offer here...

The Air definitely look better - iv'e got an older VPD elbow and they do move a
bit. the newer airs have a decent section above the elbow and a good strap at the bottom I think

@cha****ng

how do they Size up - the size guide gives a lower and upper cuff measurement but without knowing where they fit on your arm that's not a lot of help.

Whats the distance from middle of elbow to top cuff and bottom cuff?

That seems to be the 3rd iteration of Slayers in the last 5 years, I had the previous 2 and they both slipped down my (skinny) arms.

I might give those a go -thanks

I have thin/medium arms and the medium are just right for me.

Erm, I got mine in 2019 but they look like the ones on that link.
