I have some osteoarthritis of both elbows, which is made worse by rocky steep on the brakes downhills, any of you got similar? But the main question is, would a longer reach Bike be better than a shorter reach or do you think it would make no difference?!!

When recovering from a dislocation of an elbow I always went for the shorter of the 2 bikes I have. Thing that helped most though was having a strong core - did leads of yoga for the 3 months I couldn't ride
