hi everybody. i need some help on the el guapo siz.
i am 1.76m in height and i am not sure which size is bestfor me, small or medium?
anyone that has the same bike?
I'm 5'9 and have a medium. Probably suit somebody 5'6 to 5'11, so should be fine for you. fantastic bike by the way. how are you planning on building it up?
well the components are:
El Guapo in olive green with RP23 rear shock
Magura Wotan fork
Hope /DT 5.1 wheelset
SLX components with Race Face chainset
SLX hydraulic disc brakes.
Syncros bars/stem/grips/seat post and saddle.
Continental tyres
Hope headset(sealed bearings)

Sounds like a good plan. I made a mistake of trying (and easy got it) under 30bls (Goto it to 28.5). DT Swiss forks, full xtr etc.I was brilliant on the ups and fine on the downs at a nicw smooth trail center. Unfortunatly its didn't like my 14 stone when the going got rough. So I had at a chat with Tim Fluxes and he said I was to heavy for the build. So swapped to lyriks and a pushed DHX5 coil and heavier tyres (2.4 rubber queens), to be honest didnt notice it much diffrent on the up and its fantastic on the downs, no matter how fast on the rough stuff. Just swapped the XTR for a Hammerschmidt and X0, heavier again but its worth it.
