And whats it looking like? Its like being sat in your car in a carwash here. Horizontal rain and serious gusts. Pitch black too! 😯

I'm so looking forward to the 15 mile schlep back home

Whats it like with you?

Not I. And had I chosen to ride in this morning, I would have been.

Bit grim that, in't it?

It's wet, windy and almost dark here too. Usual interval session cancelled in favour of going for a run instead!

Wind calmed down a fair bit here in Glasgow. Ride home should be okay if a bit wet.

My route in to work was under a foot of water this morning, so I had to detour for only the second time in five years.

And I'm looking forward to tonight's mtb ride! 8)

I was pushed in this morning from Keswick to Penrith (with added rain). I suspect the journey home might be interesting. Luckily I avoid the A66 (and certain death). Usually fairly quiet on the back roads, but still 20 miles of rubbish weather - hey-ho!

Its grotty in Glasgow.

Chewed my way in this morning comforted by the knowledge that at least on the way home the wind will be behind me!

I actually don't mind when its proper horrible for my commute, at least I know what's coming and there's a shower at either end.

Bottled it today. Can't be doing with that wind. Plus I had to pick something up from the post office. Prefer to ride though, so hope the wind dies down for tomorrow.

No problems in Laaaaaaahndaaan Taaaaaaahhhnn.

Well, it's flipping windy (very unpleasant in a couple of the underpasses) but no rain yet. Darker than a miner's pocket though.

This was epic for about 5 minutes. 50m visibility and a sheet of water running off the roof at 45°.

It has returned to its usual grey meh self now but one side of my car is considerably cleaner than it was this morning.

Getting pretty grim in nottingham so it should be pretty foul by the time i leave in an hour, but it's all time on the bike, so can't grumble.

Chewed my way in this morning comforted by the knowledge that at least on the way home the wind will be behind me!

That never seems to happen, particularly if I'm cycling along side the Clyde

Yes. Chose the wrong day for the first commute since January.

Biblical rain and wind, however the wind "should" be behind me on the 15 miles home. I hope.

Yes I would never sit smugly through the day comforted by the belief in a tailwind home. I find always best to prepare mentally for the worst then I'm seldom disappointed. Would be soul destroying to expect a tailwind home then get the usual cross winds that come after a headwind in.

I'm in Eccles and I'm riding to Marple. Work finishes in 55 minutes. There's still time for it to blow over....

I can confirm that the sky has indeed gone out here in Knottingley.

Gale force wind and torrential rain. Now where did I put my brolly. Oh yes. I left in the car. Well that's just peachy.
