And whats it looking like? Its like being sat in your car in a carwash here. Horizontal rain and serious gusts. Pitch black too! 😯
I'm so looking forward to the 15 mile schlep back home
Whats it like with you?
Not I. And had I chosen to ride in this morning, I would have been.
Bit grim that, in't it?
Where are you? It's nice and dry here... for now!
That'll be on it's way over t'pennines then? It's just started spitting...
Like The World has ended here in Chadderton... but with additional rain.
it's only a bit of rain binners/hts you're not water soluble are you? HTFU 😉
gusty as hell, suddenly very dark, rain in all directions (even up 8O)

You live in Chaddeton, you didn't go to Bluecoats did you?
I'm riding tonight in shorts and a short sleeved top.
Aren't indoor velodromes great! 😉
It's wet, windy and almost dark here too. Usual interval session cancelled in favour of going for a run instead!
I will, my bike could do with a clean.
very very wet and windy here in Bristol - looking forward to my bike being clean by the time I get home!
ME! Bring it on, MTFU man......
......I want my mum!
Just been out for a spin and got back as it started. Will be in my face rain uphill all the way home.
Seems ok in Pompey at the moment
Cycled in and will be cycling home! 😯
Wind calmed down a fair bit here in Glasgow. Ride home should be okay if a bit wet.
My route in to work was under a foot of water this morning, so I had to detour for only the second time in five years.
And I'm looking forward to tonight's mtb ride! 8)
I was pushed in this morning from Keswick to Penrith (with added rain). I suspect the journey home might be interesting. Luckily I avoid the A66 (and certain death). Usually fairly quiet on the back roads, but still 20 miles of rubbish weather - hey-ho!
Leeds is a bit wet and windy! Ride home and regular tuesday night ride too 😆
Its grotty in Glasgow.
Chewed my way in this morning comforted by the knowledge that at least on the way home the wind will be behind me!
I actually don't mind when its proper horrible for my commute, at least I know what's coming and there's a shower at either end.
Mainly wind here in Norfolk. was about 30mph this morning pushing my front wheel all over the place. I think rain is due just as I leave to go home.
Not me - shocking here in Bury really dark, wet and windy - i'm glad i got the bus this morning

That is where I am 😯

LIVE IN CHADDERTON? #### OFF! 😉
Work there. Live in lovely Simister.
Wors - where abouts? In Whitefield by the Total Fitness.....i commute every day but thought better of it today 😯
Bottled it today. Can't be doing with that wind. Plus I had to pick something up from the post office. Prefer to ride though, so hope the wind dies down for tomorrow.
Other side of Bury, down Wellington Street opposite Elton Cars
Essex - Dark and windy, dry at mo but rain is in the post...
No problems in Laaaaaaahndaaan Taaaaaaahhhnn.
Well, it's flipping windy (very unpleasant in a couple of the underpasses) but no rain yet. Darker than a miner's pocket though.
Looked at the forecast for this arvo and drove in 🙂
Not wet in Hove yet either but windy and getting dark. Lucky the commute is 1/2 a mile!!
Come on - you live near Manchester and you are afraid of rain?
MTFU
*opens door from home office to landing and inspects stairs*
Reckon I'll cope.
This was epic for about 5 minutes. 50m visibility and a sheet of water running off the roof at 45°.
It has returned to its usual grey meh self now but one side of my car is considerably cleaner than it was this morning.
Getting pretty grim in nottingham so it should be pretty foul by the time i leave in an hour, but it's all time on the bike, so can't grumble.
Chewed my way in this morning comforted by the knowledge that at least on the way home the wind will be behind me!
That never seems to happen, particularly if I'm cycling along side the Clyde
Its still like a Harry Potter film here 🙁
*wanders off to see who's driving home my way later*
In Mancheter too - not riding home but night riding with the club 😯
Yes. Chose the wrong day for the first commute since January.
Biblical rain and wind, however the wind "should" be behind me on the 15 miles home. I hope.
only 2 miles home, uphill the whole way. Will be reet (not started raining here yet)
Yes I would never sit smugly through the day comforted by the belief in a tailwind home. I find always best to prepare mentally for the worst then I'm seldom disappointed. Would be soul destroying to expect a tailwind home then get the usual cross winds that come after a headwind in.
I'm in Eccles and I'm riding to Marple. Work finishes in 55 minutes. There's still time for it to blow over....
Lovely ride in this morning, 12 off road miles in 55 mins.
Gonna pay on the way home tho.
I can confirm that the sky has indeed gone out here in Knottingley.
Gale force wind and torrential rain. Now where did I put my brolly. Oh yes. I left in the car. Well that's just peachy.
