Spokes has just released their traffic counting info.

Bike use is up and car use is down.
74%, probably much more, single occupant cars! 🙁

I was always a bit wary of the Spokes "survey". It seemed to me that too many folk knew what day it was happening and would go out of their way to travel along Lothian Road that day.
[b]As usual[/b], we counted bikes, cars and commercial vehicles in both directions on Lothian Road and Forrest Road, on the second Tuesday in November, during rush hour. All figures below are for the 8-9am peak hour.
