[#6788508]

is starting to fail. I've tried total discharge and overnight recharge and i'm still only getting max 5 hours, with low battery appearing after 3 today.

Has anyone replaced their battery, is it an easy job? Where did you buy from?

Is this possible on other models? I'm hoping to get an edge 1000 soon.

Well, that was fantastically easy!

How has the performance been with your new battery - specifically charging? No hints of overheating or anything, do i need to get a fireproof box to charge it in, or is charging it sat on my desk at work like with the other the recommended method (I don't like to leave any battery charging totally unattended)

Glad it all worked out. A damn sight cheaper than a replacement unit eh?

Battery charging is just as normal. I never give it a second thought.
