I’m considering fitting an EDC tool in my 2019 Lyrik. The problem is that the steerer is cut for no spacers above the stem. OneUp recommend a 5mm spacer above. Has anyone run it without a spacer above the stem? Any issues?

It's this exact reason that means I haven't put my spare top cap on big bike 🙁
I'm having to muck about with low stack height stems and headset cups to try and get enough steerer.
The thread is cut reasonably far into the steerer, and I'm not too happy about clamping the top stem bolt on a threaded part.

I think you could get away with less, it just needs to not foul the cap and have enough threaded bit to pull it all down.
