We're currently staying in matlock where there's a pretty thick frost but with a warmer morning forecast
I fancy a road ride to try out winnats later, can anyone tell me if last week's snow has cleared please and if its rideable?

Yep, went through there on Sunday, no snow at all. There was ice lurking in shadowy places on the Holmfirth side of things, but I can't imagine that survived yesterday's quasi-spring.
You may or may not know that when you get up to the grit bin on the left on Winnats, you've still got a long world of pain to go.

Not sure I enjoyed Winnats but youre dead right about the grit bin 🙂

Winnats ace but the descent into Edale on the other side a bit icy in the shady bits - which were mostly on my side of the road obviously
