Hi all.

I've found what I've been searching for. Yay! It's on ebay.de. Damn!

The same seller has two items I want. He says (I think!) that he will post around the world.

I would like to put offers in on both things, bid on both things if offers fail and (here's where it gets messy Confused) pay for them if I win (and then get combined postage!).

Does anybody have any experience of how to do this?

The first question I guess is if it possible to register a ebay.de account from the UK. The key question however, is there any way to transfer money that doesn't involve paying your bank huge sums for the privilege...

Any advice appreciated

Thanks

Mark

You don't need a .de account

Paypal?

Cool! I just had to enter my password again and I was in. Thank you!

Now I will contact the seller and ask if he would be able to accept Paypal. On the auction he does not say.

Fingers crossed!

I think most Chermans have an in built hatred of Paypal and will insist on bank tranfer, which cost about £15 from most banks.

I'd feared as much. Oh well... I seem to recall a bank transfer involves a lot of form-filling as well. 🙁

Thanks for the heads up.

Just get as much info as poss, SWIF/BIC and IBAN, bank name and address as well as their full name and address.

Rather than log in to debay just search for the item number on UK ebay and you can add it to your watch list.
