I bid on a pair of forks that ended today at 4.30pm.
They were black Rockshox Reba 29er 120mm tapered.
I bid the minimum bid of £175 and a maximum of £208.99
15 minutes before they ended the seller cancelled my bids and they ended with 1 bid - The minimum £175???
Really!

Second account or a friend as he wasn't happy with the sale would be my guess.
........watch out for them to be re-listed tomorrow!
gotta love eBay 🙄
I emiled this seller to ak a question about the lockout which he claimed was not working, he never replied
Was a bit dodge IMO
Why on earth did you bid that early?
Sniping is the only way - he could well have still pulled them though
I actually offered him £215 posted outwith Ebay and he never replied to that either.........
Maybe a blessing in disguise!
UPDATE:
Thought id share the news with you, the reason the seller cancelled my bids was:
aggressive buyer. asked to sell outside ebay numerous times
This however, not surprisingly it utter nonsense!
I made him 2 offers, mentioning once that i could pay him direct.
None of my messages to him could ever be classed as aggressive.
He might, quite rightly, have taken your offers to deal outside of ebay as dodgy and decided he didn't want to deal with you either way.
After he never replied to my second offer, i decided to just do it by the book, so i could'nt possibly do anything dodgy?
so i could'nt possibly do anything dodgy?
It appears that in his mind you possibly could
I cancel bids if people offer to buy "outside eBay"
(unless they are just offering to pay on collection)
