im confused...E150 Front Forks 150mm and 27 speed...if you'd built it up surely it would be either 150mm + 1x9 or 100mm + 27 speed ๐
Eh?
The fact they put those triple clamps on an XC frame should ring alarm bells!
๐This bike is designed to be Excellent hardtail offroad and downhiller with fast road capability
each to there own, but i imagine thats not great at XC or DH
It's an Enduro/Rockhopper frankenbike. Scary.
Don't get this though:
if you'd built it up surely it would be either 150mm + 1x9 or 100mm + 27 speed
Why? ๐
Why?
Because MBUK said so?

You have to admire the seller's cheek.
You have to [s]admire[/s] pity the seller's [s]cheek[/s] stupidity.
Agreed ๐
njee20, i just dont get why if you've built the bike to your spec you whack on gert big DH forks, then have a triple set...surely a nice medium would be a 2x9/10 and 130mm travel...i just think if you were riding that up hill the forks would make it very difficult ๐
#disclaimer, my opinion is based on 2 years of riding and reading a lot of magazines ๐ ๐
Are they downhill forks? My enduro doesn't think so.
Aah right, I see.
I think the fact they've put a 6" travel, dual crown fork on an XC hardtail identifies them as a moron anyway, and any subsequent component choices can be explained by this.
It's gone far beyond 'nice mediums' - blatantly fitted because they look cool.
Or he nicked an Enduro and split it up.
plodtv - my (grr manly) pitch disagree's! ๐
E150s aren't DH forks by a long stretch!
I'll happily bet that Spesh doesn't warranty the 'hopper for dual crown forks! ๐
Yep, the seller has broken up an Enduro judging by some of the finishing kit and the fact that the front wheel needs a custom axle hub.
Maybe there's a Spesh Enduro out there running 100mm Recons?
