Apparently "The reserve for the bike is well under 1000 pounds", well that's good news!

I think its a Lanai and from my Halfords days have the figure of £260 in my head, albeit with forks of a more appropriate length I also don't think they feature a disc mount.

Cobbled together from a pile of nicked bike parts?

all parts are "brand new and unused or in near mint condition"

but he's done downhill and "extreme freeriding"?

The two dont sit side by side.

He's also been done if that crankarm is near mint because the paint has worn off entirely on one side already 🙂

Tim, I thought that when I saw it so checked his history but it looks like he has bought the rear wheel and front brake so maybe just a pleb not a criminal pleb.

Last time I heard restricted pronounced "ristricted" it was concerning 125cc motorbikes (hairdryers)...

I also don't think they feature a disc mount

That's probably why the rear brake is not 'attacted' then. Is it offensively elitist of me to say that it is somewhat disturbing to think that someone with this sort of communication skill (let alone mechanical ability) is thinking of going to university?

Nice head angle. Ragley frames are so behind the times!

Is it just me or is the rear mech not attached to anything via means of a cable?

No front mech either, so I'm guessing it's in the granny ring so he can ride trials on it.

That rear mech with the BIG red jockey wheel looks like one of the cheap and nasty things you get with the Mega-range cassettes.
Certainly not a Lx rear derailleur.

Wonder where the "Hadlebars" are on the bike.

This is by far the best part of the STW forum isn't it? The total trashing of other peoples ebay listings. If only the magazine was this entertaining 8)
