[#3055249]

Been trying to flog what I think is a peach of a frame for a bit, twice on ebay, twice on here, nothing but "interested" tyre-kickers.

Here's the link:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160621758025&ssPageName=ADME:L:EOISFP:GB:1123#ht_500wt_1077

Anything wrong with the page? Is it just there's no market? I'd love to keep it but have no use for it.

Mounts added by a local frame-builder. Frame is RRP £450.

Frameset bought late 2009, with disc-mounts added (and home-touched up around those areas, not perfect but a good DIY job and does not stand out in normal light). (Note rear disc mount works with a front Avid BB5/7 adaptor rather than rear - I understand that the brake calipers come with both a front and rear adaptor).

does not sound like

Mounts added by a local frame-builder.

Better to say mounts professionally added by a local frame builder and then coloured in by me using a Halfords touch up pen

Aye - you need to make it clear that it's only the paint job which is DIY.

I think you'll be very lucky to get as much as £200 for it.

Still, this is a good way of getting it more attention.....

The whole brakes modded thing, the geo not matching the linked doc and the fact that you need to use a front mount on the rear.

Also the first thing that struck me is the rubbish photographs, the frame almost matches the 'carpet' it was taken on. Good photos make an item much easier to sell.

Try it on a decent back ground next time

And you need to add "no spoons were harmed in the manufacture of these mounts" 🙂
