He went into a bike shop and said "I have £4000 to spend on a bike, I'll ride it to work" - bike shop thought "hmmm, what can we sell him?" - he ended up with a very nice, if slightly inappropriate bike.
My Dad has a range of nice mid-range bikes, most recent addition was a Fuel Ex9, he rides it on the odd (flat) bridleway and on the road. A 'cross bike would suit him more, but he's not remotely fussed about the speed, he likes having the extra comfort.
Never been 'miss treated'. 'Miss treated' sounds a bit dirty!
'Miss treated'
pained her name on the nose of my plane.
You could buy a decent bike for that money, I would never buy another Yeti 575 without warranty.
