[#335722]

Have a bit more time on my hands now (in between visits to the job centre :() so can get out biking during the day. Problem is I can't face eating until the afternoon but know if I don't eat before riding I will suffer.

Does anyone else have this problem and if so how do you deal with it?

Cheers

Cereal before a ride, take some fruit and a couple of cereal bars with you too...

I just don't eat before I go out. It's only a bit of pain.

I do that anyway! Always take snacks out with me, just feel I should eat before I go but even if I feel hungry I don't fancy anything. Might give the porridge a go though.

I'm not a breakfast person, never hungry until midday, dispite the commute. If I'm going out for a long ride that day, I basically have to force myself to eat some porridge.

If eating is a problem maybe a carb-rich drink might be an alternative such as a smoothie or a sports energy drink?
