Trying to get my other half out with me post lockdown and I'm looking for a 40 50 mile loop with a campsite even better if there is a pub too half way so we can do 25mile pootle then a some food n beers and then a return to grab the van.
She hates riding on the road and isn't very confident on the mtb, I'll be on my gravel bike so anything I can ride she should easily manage on a HT.
Was thinking maybe out around Malham tarn way as theres plenty of miles of big wide double track.
Was even wondering about Fleetwood glasson dock area too.

Have a look at the Peddars Way in Norfolk. 50 miles long. Ends at the sea (nice). Very gravel bike suitable. Not sure about campsites, we just wild camped in the dunes, but sure there will be options.

Should mention I'm nw way so yoekshire lakes Cheshire or north Wales is more suitable for a one nighter
The Lakeland monster miles gravel event starts and finishes in Keswick. Could start halfway round, camp and eat in Braithwaite or Keswick then finish the next day. Nice ride on quiet lanes and technically easy (though hilly) tracks. Google for route.

Have a look at the JennRide route for ideas.
I did route from Bike trek in Ings, picked up the JennRide route into ambleside then around loughrigg terrace and into langdale. You could overnight at NT campsite in langdale or baysbrown and then pick up the return loiop by cutting down into little langdagle.
Some of that might be a bit technical but there is bike paths from skelwith bridge to langdale as an alternative andt there is good off road path down to low wray and the ferry back

There's lots in the Settle-Malham-Grassington area, you may have to do the odd mile or two on road to link things up but they are generally quiet lanes.
I've mentioned malham.up past the tarn is all double or good trail
