please in one sentence , tell me your thoughts !!
Yep. Carbon Bars and stem, quality product.
2 of the bars... Not a lot to say about them really- light, strong enough, right shape, purty. The white graphics come off a bit easily though and left a bit of a mess.
I'm guessing he meant wheels judging by the other thread ๐
Ive got some dying to use them, roll on the weekend!
ha sorry yes wheels , am stuck between havens or crossmax sx's
Graphics came off my bars by the brakes, bit of a design fault.
Why buy other than Hope Hoops, while you may get a marginal better product you are more likely buying long-term (could be after one season too) pain (maintenance and spares) and expense.
Have had both Havens and SX and the SX are the better wheel IMO. The rear haven felt very flexxy and the bearings lasted next to no time. If you go for for Mavic think about signing up for there MP3 program which gives you two years cover for what ever happens to them.

Well... The only reason to buy Hope is that DT are too expensive, right? ๐

and, err, not very good, IME? front bearings lasted 6 months or so on a 240 hub i have.
data sample of one, TBF, but you don't state your data either ๐
Got more DTs than Hopes, and the DTs see the most use, while the Hopes see the most maintenance ๐
Easton Havens - very light in alu, stupidly light in carbon. Either way the hubs are the weak link and when the spokes eventually break (which they will if you ride them to limit of their design brief) they're a pain to fix as they aren't carried as spares by most bike shops. The Crossmax SXs are also proprietary but LBSs do seem to carry spare spokes.
Broke my Havens, bought some Havocs for half price at CRC, a tiny bit heavier but are holding up well.
