[Closed] Easton Haven shape bar but without the nasty graphics?

I want to try a wider bar than my EA70 riser, so the Haven makes some sense. But those graphics around the grips / clamping area are vile. I assume they'll scuff easily and look tatty very quickly.

So, what is similar in weight and shape (in 20mm ish rise) and isn't gopping to look at and is ~710 wide (or wider and so can be cut down)?

Sunline bars are a very similar shape if you can find a set anywhere.

by the time you install your grips, brakes and shifters you hardly see any graphics anyway.

+1 on the graphics being mostly covered, plus the actually seem to last quite well (I have the carbon ones)

Are the graphics really that bad?

I have a couple of pairs of Haven's. The graphics do look tatty very quickly, on the black ones anyway. The shiny ones look sweet as.
Havoc's will have the same shape wiggle and could be cut down.

The graphics actually look ok. I just assumed that they'd look really tatty after some moving around of shifters and brakes. They'd also only partly show which might look a bot naff.

Maybe I'll give them a go.

Who cares if they look tatty under your grips etc?

Oh and get the Havocs - lovely bars ๐Ÿ˜€

this ...

both sets of mine look fine, depends what you mean by 'tatty' anyhow given that the stuff is on there to be used as opposed to looking pretty in STW photo parades ๐Ÿ˜‰

The grips do cover most of the graphics but the brakes and shifters also sit on the graphic heavy section. When I was setting up the control positions on a new build there was a shower of ex graphic flakeing off.
Regardless of how muddy or how many time you are likely to crash a bike, that first 'stand back and admire' moment when you have completed a build can be important (in a sad obsessive way) particularly if you are building for a friend.
Love the bars generally though.

I was just looking at exactly the same thing and picked up these instead...

These were similarly cheap but a smidge heavier...

These. I have V3s on my HT because it still has a nice 25.4mm stem, and Haven only come oversized. Same width, rise and within 1 degree of sweep.

The gloss black of the Havens is lovely, the shedding like a manky scab logos less so.
