[Closed] Easton EA70 XCT 29er spokes

Hi all

I snapped a couple of spokes on my EA70 XCT rear wheel and ordered some new ones.
The ones I ordered are a wider gauge than the originals.

Couple of Qs:

1) Will having 4 spokes of a wider gauge be a bad thing. (I guess so cos I keep snapping other ones now)

2) Can I just order a load more wider gauge spokes and replace them all to make a sturdier wheel?

3) The original was true when all the spokes made the same note when plucked like a guitar - I have a guitar tuner and wondered if anyone knows what note they should actually play when correctly tensioned 🙂

I'm probably a better guitarist than wheel builder so any help would be gratefully received!
