11ish last night - very loud rumbling noise. Went to look for the huge vehicle going past - nowt. Went to check the boiler for frozen pipes causing some sort of juddering air lock. Turns out it was a tremor - 3.6 on richer scale, centre in ambleside area.

A bit like a lorry driving past 2 streets away in Cockermouth, no shaking just a faint rumble.

Well something woke me up last night. I thought at first it was an earthquake but it turns out it was just Julian Assange trying to have sex with me ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

It felt and sounded like very large machinery travelling down the road followed by the house shaking and beams creaking. It was a very strange feeling.

Thankfully it wasn't the ghost of Christmas past, I am due a visit.

Old Jethro joke (please add gratuitous Cornish drawl) "There was an earthquake in Cumbria last night".........................

Caused a millions pounds worth of improvements.

Not me, it was Jethro

I'll get my coat
