Set off early for the trails this morning. Well 7 am
Thought I'd get some decent off road miles in. Before it gets busy
Shortly after setting off I ws besieged by packs of fell runners
Intent on edging me. Into the bushes. Then there was some kind of orienteering Gathering
Bloody loads standing around on trail consulting maps etc
Thought I'd cut down onto a road section and cross to another route
This time it was a triathlon type of event road bikes and cars everywhere
Stewards. Stopping people at various stages by the time I got back on trails it was every man and his dog
Time.
Do these people have no consideration ? Surely they should be going to a car boot sale
Or the supermarket or something people do on Sunday morning or church even
Not denying me the pleasure of a bimble on my Mtb early doors ?

I've always found late Sunday afternoon / evening a far more pleasurable time to ride around Rivi.

I was there about 8 this morning. Saw all the triathletes near the school so parked at the bottom of icr. Went upto the pike, San Marino and back up, kennel run and icr . Hardly saw a sole. Saw the triathletes on the bikes once I was back in the car.

Great time to get out!! Ha
