So I have this weird thing where when I exercise and presumably get a little thirsty/dehydrated my left ear feels like it's popped or got water in. I can't just pop it and a few hours and water later it goes back to normal.

Does anyone else get this? Seems really odd...

Sounds like you need a good clean out! Mine did that.. took the nurses 3 attempts to clear both ears out.😳

I had this for a couple of weeks. Just as I was starting to get concerned, it disappeared. No idea what caused it I’m afraid.

Maybe something with the sinuses? Whenever my ears get blocked it is usually something to do with the nose.

I get it, I just put it down to hay fever. As you say goes away pretty sharpish

I've actually had this occasionally for a few years. Seems to be occur more often in summer, and particularly at times of big effort (eg. long hill climb) so the dehydration link sounds likely.

Once on a particularly big day I do remember it hanging around for the rest of the night, but generally it clears up by the time I'm home and showered.

To be honest I completely forget about it until it happens again so I've never followed up to get it investigated. Curious now though.

I've got this at the moment. It usually happens in the hay fever season. It feels as though my head's in a cardnoard box, yet everything sounds loud, yet I can't hear clearly if that makes sense.

Hoping the ears will pop and the feeling goes away.
