E8000 Chainring

Hi,

I have a Mondraker e-bike (2018) which has an E8000 motor on it, I am wanting to change the chainring on the front but not sure on exactly what is needed, can just the 'outer' ring be replaced or do I a direct mount style, here is a link to the two I am looking at:

You can replace the chainring separately, as per your second link (or any other ring with the same bcd). It’s a bit of a faff to get the chain ring off without removing the spider, but possible as I managed it

They use normal 104mm bcd chainrings, i.e. the most popular size.

I just use 104bcd Snail rings for a tenner off ebay on mine, work as well as anything else. Not really a faff to change either

Cheers guys, I tried getting advice from CRC and they mentioned i needed a CRE80-B chainring, 53mm?

Would any 104BCD ring work then?

Used an Hope chainring ring on my Esommet without any issues
