Anyone fiddle with the extension on their forks? Make much difference to handling?
Also is it okay to put spacers between the headset and top clamp/integral stem bit?
Don't know if anyone's interested but changed from max to min extension (about 20mm lower axle to crown), went for a ride round my local cheekys yesterday and def made a difference, felt a lot faster through the tight twisties and could climb the steeper bits without winding the travel down to 110mm.
have you tried a basic service on your forks, am going to try mine some time soon.
Not yet, they're still working fine and I've always been 'if it ain't broken' frame of mind (from bitter experience!) Just make sure I wipe down the seals and check the stanchions after a ride.
