[#7637544]

Myself and a group of friends are heading to Dolgellau in May for our Annual MTB weekend away. We normally head to Scotland but have decided to have a change this year and head to Wales as its a lot closer.

The Plan was to ride a big mountain, a natural route and a trail centre which brings me to the reason for the post. I was wondering if any Local Riders to the area (Dyfi Mainly) have a route they could recommend or even lead for us.

We normally do routes of around 20-25 mile and love technical terrain.
The average age of the group is around 45.

Please feel free to email me from my profile if you have a good route or would like to lead a ride for us.

Thanks for reading

Stan

If you go on the NWMBA or MB North Wales facebook pages you may find a willing local to show you around 😀

Thanks for replies. just looked at forest freeride. I don't mind paying for someone to lead us on a ride but think his prices are very expensive.
was hoping for a local mtber rather than a business.
but thanks anyway.

£35/person, expensive? I think it's very reasonable, and damn cheap for a whole days entertainment/riding.

We did Bont Scethin in the morning and Cadair Idris in the afternoon a few years back.

Blimey Mary Hinge, I'm impressed. That would be a whole weekend for me nowadays.

Dave at BikeCorris is local, top bloke and knows all the trails in the forest including many of Dan Athertons (if that is your thing). He definitely will sort you out for a great weekend of riding. Google Bike Corris and take it form there
