I reckon there is a long queue to process. Wouldn't like to be last one!!. Took 4 minutes last year 42 this year. And this is a better system?

I'm in. That was worse than entering the Strathpuffer! I knew as soon as I read that they had a new system that it wasn't going to work. Total ridiculous, in this day and age, blah blah!

It does put you off. Maybe that's the whole point?

To be honest any website that calls itself 'Stuweb' suggest it's been built by a 16 year old in his bedroom. Seeing as it's a php site that's probably not far from the truth 🙂

Hang in there. Entry list keeps growing I had the blue circle for ages then took 3 or 4 refreshes of payment to get it thru.

Just got on and entered four of us no hassle.
Not sure if any of us are actually going to ride it yet.

I'm in after constant refreshes on the laptop & kindle, the kindle won ... WHAT a f'kin nightmare though, I'd rather go & buy a ticket from somewhere than have to put up with this again !

Didn't realise it was entry day and would have loved to do it again. Last time was 2008. Where does the time go?

Very poor system, just the sort of thing that will damage the reputation of the event..and got charged an extra 1.50 of the services of 'stuweb' I suggest Dyfi Events has a discussion with them about service..

Something tells me this will be the only time stuweb is used for the Dyfi. Quite frankly if they use it next year I'm not bothering. Annoying really seeing as other events seem to sort it out ok. The strathpuffer solo entries sell out in 2 minutes and I never got any server crashes with that.

From facebook:
"Stuweb have had to pause entries, the handback from Worldpay has slowed to a crawl. They will re-open ASAP. Again we are very sorry but its simply a matter of site traffic and massive over subscription."

Seems like they have just put entries on hold. Last year there were lots of people pretty much giving away their entries in the weeks before the event. Keep an eye on here and their facebook page if you dont get in

It seems to be open again. At the least they seem to have taken my money.

Edit: all done in one hour twenty minutes!

Its back open, I just got straight through to entry. First page is a bit odd, you click enter and it looks like nothing has happened but it has added it to the the basket on the top right of the page

After much swearing to myself and being interrupted by a 20 month old throwing up everywhere I managed to get an entry, the system is still bobbins though

Well I've ended up with two Worldpay receipts and one entry confirmation. So I'll wait for the dust to settle and see tomorrow if I've now got a spare or paid for someone else's as well.

Well I've got 2 worldpay receipts, each for 3 entries, and no names on the list. I emailed Stuweb and got an email back from Stuart himself, as long as I've a worldpay receipt my names will be on the list by tomorrow lunchtime. Here's hoping! If I get 3 places confirmed, I'll probably have another 3 to either return or offer on here.

I got to miss out on the entry scrum this year as a friend that has regularly taken part managed to pluck the first May bank holiday weekend out of a whole year of weekends for his wedding.

Booked a solo ticket without issue at 8pm. First Dyfi for me. Always been put off by mass starts and so many people on a trail, but I thought I'd give it a go as I have friends doing it.

Why didn't they stick with the system they used last year, it worked fine for me.

Perhaps its a new form of Enduro - you race online to buy a ticket and endure the process.

Get a ticket = win 🙂

I have had the Worldpay confirmation, but nothing confirming my entry. The facebook update from Dyfi Events leads me to believe this will be resolved in the next 24 hours, so I'm not overly concerned.

Why should that make it any less frustrating?

The real issue for me wasn't that I might not get a place, it was that the process was just so painfully inadequate.
