From the Swallow Falls, can the trail be easily picked up? If not where is the next nearest start point. Thanks
Long time since I've done the Marin but I think you can get on it from the minor road that leaves the A5 at Ty Hyll (The Ugly House) about a Km west of Swallows Falls. I don't think there's a bridge over the river at Swallows Falls

As Whitestone says take a right at the ugly house and join at the end of Dragons Tail.
Swallow falls is were it says A5 (T) on the map.
Either up the hill to the ugly house (hellish steep road climb to the trail) or down the hill to the miners bridge (hellish steep road climb to the trail).
Either way its a short but sharp climb depending on which road you choose from the two mentioned above. I'd go up to the ugly house from there probably. Pretty much the top of the hill anyway.
