Would I be right in saying that if I gut one of the battery packs (4 X 18650) off of my cheap DX lights and swap the batteries for four decent ones, stick it all back together then everything should be good to go.?
Just a thought as a friend has got 4 SenyBor batteries going cheap.

You'd be better getting a 2S2P 4x18650 cell holder and swapping the plug to it
